News & Events An Inter House Debate Competition took place on 4th August 2023 at Green Mount Global School Bhimtal. The event brought together students from different houses from senior classes to showcase their oratory and argumentative skills on the topic ‘Reading book is better than watching television’. A total of four houses participated in this Inter House Debate Competition. Each participating house was represented by a team of two students: first one in favor of the topic and the other against the topic. The event drew an enthusiastic response from both participants and spectators, contributing to a lively and engaging atmosphere. The topics chosen for the debate competition covered a wide range of social and political issues ensuring a balanced and comprehensive discussion. The participants demonstrated exceptional public speaking skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to present well-reasoned arguments.
