English is an internationally accepted language but it is a foreign language for us. To make the students feel comfortable with the language, we have English Lab in our school. A complete environment with audio-visual aids is created. Besides, French language is also taught as compulsory subject.
The English Language Lab aims to enhance proficiency in Spoken English through its emphasis on activity-based learning. The Language Lab trains students in Spoken English through a well-defined curriculum and focus on the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. The language lab helps learners to develop their speaking abilities in particular when they listen to sample pronunciation of native speakers, record their voices and correct themselves besides removing the mother tongue influence (MTI) which distorts communication.
